Front End Software Engineer – World-Leading Prop Trading Fund

About the role

Join a technology‑driven proprietary trading fund that builds sophisticated, browser‑based tools for professional traders. You will design and implement the next generation of UI applications, delivering polished, high‑performance experiences for power users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced web interfaces for trading infrastructure.
• Create reusable UI libraries and abstractions to standardise interaction patterns.
• Collaborate closely with traders and other end‑users to gather requirements and refine usability.
• Contribute to front‑end, back‑end, middleware and database components as needed.
• Champion best practices in UI development across the firm.

Required profile

• Strong background in web technologies and browser fundamentals.
• Passion for crafting elegant, highly usable user interfaces.
• Interest in typed functional programming approaches.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• CSS and DOM manipulation.
• JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with UI frameworks such as Vue, Angular, React or Flutter.
• Familiarity with functional languages like Elm, ReasonML, Purescript (OCaml a plus).
