Front of House Manager – Spa & Club

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Front of House Manager to lead the spa and club reception team in Calcot. The role involves delivering a seamless, welcoming experience for all guests while supporting the overall wellness and hospitality standards of the venue.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily front‑of‑house operations during assigned shifts, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead and motivate the team through regular meetings, performance monitoring and bi‑annual appraisals.
• Handle customer enquiries, bookings and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate VIP, journalist and press arrivals to ensure a flawless experience.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve service delivery and drive revenue growth.
• Oversee staff rotas, absences, holidays and payroll processing.
• Maintain spa public areas, food & beverage service, and ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Control beverage stock, conduct allergen training and manage inventory of towels and robes.
• Process daily transactions, reconcile cash and manage online treatment availability.
• Ensure GDPR compliance at reception and the proper functioning of reception equipment.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a hospitality or wellness environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to resolve issues quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Required skills

• Front‑of‑house management within a spa, club or similar hospitality setting.
• Experience with staff scheduling, payroll coordination and inventory control.
• Knowledge of GDPR requirements for reception areas.
• Ability to oversee food & beverage service and conduct allergen training.
