Front of House Manager – Wellness Spa Venue

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Front of House Manager to lead the daily operations of our wellness spa venue. You will ensure a seamless, welcoming experience for all guests while driving high standards of service and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front‑of‑house operations during assigned shifts.
• Lead and motivate the team through regular meetings, performance monitoring and bi‑annual appraisals.
• Handle customer enquiries, bookings and resolve complaints promptly.
• Manage VIP, journalist and press arrivals to ensure a flawless experience.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall service delivery.
• Control staff rotas, absences, holidays and ensure accurate payroll processing.
• Maintain spa public areas to a spotless standard and coordinate cleaning activities.
• Supervise food and beverage service, stock control and conduct allergen training.
• Identify revenue‑growth opportunities with the Spa Manager and Director.
• Open and close the spa, reconcile daily transactions and manage swim‑time sessions.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts of towels and robes and order stock as needed.
• Ensure GDPR compliance at reception and maintain reception equipment functionality.
• Perform any additional reasonable tasks required to keep spa operations running smoothly.
