About the role

Join the Front of House team at The Ambleside Inn, a celebrated pub set in the Lake District. As a live‑in team member you will be the first friendly face guests see, delivering warm and memorable service throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a positive attitude.
• Take orders, serve food and drinks, and recommend menu items.
• Maintain a clean and tidy front‑of‑house environment.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about hospitality and customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
