Full Stack Cloud Engineer – Hybrid, London

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Cloud Engineer to join a stealth‑mode, venture‑backed AI company building public‑safety solutions. The role is hybrid in London and offers the chance to shape both the software stack and cloud architecture from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain full‑stack applications and cloud‑native platforms.
• Develop backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
• Design, deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK or similar tooling.
• Own production deployments, platform reliability and operational performance.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery and release processes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise cloud environments for performance, security and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product and AI teams to deliver mission‑critical solutions.
• Contribute to technical architecture and engineering best practices across software and infrastructure.

Required profile

• Commercial experience in Full Stack Engineering, Cloud Engineering or Software Engineering roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services and cloud‑native architectures.
• Proven experience designing, deploying and operating production environments.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK).
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Eligibility for SC clearance (minimum 5 years continuous UK residency).
