Full Stack Developer (Hybrid, Warrington)

About the role

GT Maritime is looking for a hands‑on Full Stack Developer to join its engineering team in Warrington. The role is permanent and hybrid, focusing on building the next generation of the company’s maritime cybersecurity platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement partner API integrations across endpoint protection, network security, user‑awareness training and SIEM/SOC tooling.
• Write clean, modular, well‑tested object‑oriented code and participate in rigorous code reviews.
• Work within six‑week Shape Up build cycles, collaborating with the Head of Engineering and Product on scoping and effort estimation.
• Leverage AI‑powered development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor and GitHub Copilot throughout the workflow.
• Champion test‑driven development (TDD) by writing tests first and maintaining high test coverage.
• Promote secure coding practices and conduct security‑focused code reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience building API integrations in a full‑stack environment.
• Strong grasp of object‑oriented design principles and clean code practices.
• Hands‑on experience with test‑driven development and maintaining test coverage.
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast‑paced, six‑week development cycles.
• Commitment to security‑first development and code review processes.
