Full Stack Developer – £60k‑£80k + Equity

About the role

Join Tab’s profitable, lean team of nine as one of its first engineers. You’ll help build and scale a high‑impact payments and discovery platform that serves independent tourism businesses worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and scale backend services with Python, FastAPI and Django to support a 10× increase in payment volume.
• Create modern, responsive user interfaces using Svelte and TypeScript for a discovery engine listing over 100,000 businesses.
• Architect, deploy and maintain robust AWS cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability, security and performance for critical payment systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of full‑stack development experience building web applications with an object‑oriented language and modern frontend frameworks (Svelte or React).
• Proven ability to work across the entire stack, including Python back‑ends, PostgreSQL databases and AWS cloud services.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment and able to mentor junior engineers.
