Full Stack Developer – Remote / International

About the role

AliveShoes is building a fashion‑tech platform that lets creators design, produce and sell custom shoes. As a Full Stack Developer you will work on both the public‑facing website and the internal dashboard, adding new features, improving performance and supporting a growing global user base.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and the Foundation framework.
• Build and enhance back‑end services with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Nginx and AWS.
• Implement analytics and data‑collection pipelines using Google Analytics or MixPanel.
• Ensure scalability, maintainability and performance of the platform.
• Conduct manual and automated UI testing to deliver a pixel‑perfect user experience.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience, preferably on applications with >10 k users.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical knowledge.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to handle large data loads.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, chaotic startup environment.
• Excellent documentation habits and experience writing automated tests.
