Full Stack Engineer – AI Enabled

About the role

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to drive AI‑enabled solutions across its global finance platforms. You will work within a large technology team to design, develop and scale secure applications that impact millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance full‑stack applications using Java, Angular, microservices and event‑driven architectures.
• Lead the integration of agentic AI capabilities into new and existing services.
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI researchers, product managers and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into production‑ready software.
• Architect resilient, fault‑tolerant microservices and event‑driven systems.
• Build intuitive, responsive front‑end interfaces with Angular.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to operational support.
• Promote best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD and continuous delivery.

Required profile

• Strong background in modern enterprise architecture and a passion for artificial intelligence.
• Proven ability to design scalable, secure solutions for large‑scale financial systems.
• Experience working in a collaborative, fast‑paced technology environment.
• Senior‑level expertise with a track record of delivering complex software projects.
