Full Stack Engineer – Blockchain

About the role

Fireblocks is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to strengthen its FinApps Access team, building the backbone of on‑chain access for leading financial institutions. You will design and deliver mission‑critical infrastructure that powers multi‑chain transaction routing, DeFi connectivity and on‑chain data access at institutional scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build robust, scalable backend services for high‑volume on‑chain transaction flows across multiple blockchain networks (EVM and non‑EVM).
• Own end‑to‑end development of backend components and APIs, from architecture decisions through production deployment.
• Lead integrations with DeFi protocols, on‑chain data sources and blockchain nodes across diverse ecosystems.
• Research emerging blockchain technologies and standards to keep the platform at the cutting edge.
• Optimize existing production systems for performance, reliability and security, reducing latency and increasing throughput.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience as a Backend or Full‑Stack Engineer.
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or equivalent degree/experience.
• Deep understanding of blockchain transaction lifecycles, consensus mechanisms and smart‑contract interactions.
• Proven experience across multiple blockchain ecosystems, both EVM‑compatible and non‑EVM chains.

Required skills

• Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design and operation of microservices in CI/CD environments.
• Security principles and cryptography in a blockchain context.
• Web3 tooling and libraries (ethers.js, viem, web3.js, Solana web3.js).
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols (AMMs, lending markets, bridging, on‑chain routing).
• Front‑end development with React (nice‑to‑have).
