Full Stack Engineer (PHP, Go & React) – Up to £100k + Bonus – Hybrid

About the role

We are building a next‑generation wellness platform for a health‑and‑wellbeing tech startup. As a Full Stack Engineer you will join the product team at an early stage, shaping both the backend and frontend architecture while delivering privacy‑first, consumer‑facing features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement full‑stack features using PHP, Go and React.
• Develop secure, scalable backend services and APIs (OpenAPI/YAML).
• Create modern, responsive user interfaces and ensure accessibility.
• Collaborate with iOS, Android and Kotlin Multiplatform teams on shared data models.
• Write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and embed privacy‑first principles in all components.
• Optimize performance, scalability and reliability of the platform.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack or Software Engineer.
• Production‑grade experience with PHP and a solid desire or experience with Go.
• Proven frontend expertise with React.
• Good understanding of API design, OpenAPI specifications and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, consumer‑facing product teams.
