Full Stack Software Engineer – AI/ML – Security Cleared

About the role

Searchability NS&D is seeking a Security‑cleared Full Stack Software Engineer with a passion for AI/ML to join a high‑performance engineering team delivering advanced software for the National Security & Defence sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modern full‑stack web applications and user interfaces.
• Build backend services and REST APIs using Python frameworks such as Flask or Django.
• Integrate AI/ML models and computer‑vision capabilities into production software.
• Create tools for image, video and AI visualisation.
• Contribute to software architecture, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support customer demonstrations, trials and deployments.

Required profile

• Several years of commercial software engineering experience across the stack.
• Active SC or MOD DV security clearance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with AI/ML specialists and other engineering disciplines.

Required skills

• Python development.
• JavaScript/TypeScript front‑end development.
• Flask or Django (REST API frameworks).
• Git version control.
• Automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux development environment.
