Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Corgi is building a new kind of insurance carrier using AI and software to automate traditional workflows. We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and ship systems that power our underwriting, claims, finance, compliance, and internal tooling. This role is based in our London office and offers high ownership and direct impact on the business.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain both internal and customer‑facing software platforms.
• Design backend services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop full‑stack features quickly across the product stack.
• Partner with product, operations, and leadership to automate manual workflows.
• Improve reliability, performance, and scalability of existing systems.
• Contribute to technical architecture, engineering standards, and team culture.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with 2+ years of experience.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and moving quickly.
• High ownership and bias toward execution.
• Curious, technically motivated, and eager to solve difficult problems.
• Enjoys close collaboration with operators and domain experts.
