Full-Time Primary Teaching Assistant – No Experience Needed

About the role

This full‑time position supports primary‑age pupils (4‑11) in a specialist provision, helping children with additional learning needs, developmental delays, or SEMH challenges. No prior school experience is required as comprehensive training and on‑the‑job support are provided.

Key responsibilities

• Support children aged 4–11 across a range of subjects.
• Provide 1:1 and small‑group assistance to develop literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Help pupils regulate emotions, build confidence and foster independence.
• Assist with social development and emotional regulation.
• Encourage positive routines and a nurturing learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored support.
