Full-time Supply Teacher – Manchester (UK)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic supply teachers to join schools across Manchester on a full-time, on-site basis. As a supply teacher you will step in during staff absences, delivering high-quality lessons and supporting the continuity of learning for pupils of varying ages and subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, adapt and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with permanent teaching staff to ensure smooth handover.
• Manage classroom resources and uphold school policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent PGCE certification.
• Proven experience in teaching or education settings.
• Strong organisational and classroom-management abilities.
• Familiarity with the UK education system and National Curriculum (advantageous).
• Professional attitude and ability to work in diverse school environments.

Required skills

• Lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Effective communication with students, staff and parents.
