Fullstack Engineer (Heavy Frontend)

About the role

This is a senior full‑stack engineering position focused on heavy frontend work for internal platform tools. You will join a lean, agile team that bridges frontend development with backend systems, helping internal engineers interact with, validate, and secure core data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build developer‑facing dashboards and tools from scratch to manage data contracts at the code level.
• Implement code‑level guardrails that protect downstream systems such as recommendation engines.
• Accelerate rapid prototyping during a discovery MVP phase and act as a critical accelerator for the core team.
• Balance frontend utility with awareness of data engine requirements to deliver seamless internal developer experiences.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience with a strong background in platform engineering rather than pure feature development.
• Comfortable handling backend tasks and general cloud infrastructure responsibilities.
• Ability to start immediately and work remotely within European time zones, preferably London or Stockholm.

Required skills

• High expertise in JavaScript (primary technical focus).
• Familiarity with Java.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Understanding of data engineering practices.
• Knowledge of AI coding assistance tools to optimise development workflows.
