About the role

Join Prime Life’s caring team as a Full‑time Day Care Assistant at Woodville Residential Home, supporting 46 residents with age‑related and mental health conditions, including dementia. You will help residents maintain dignity, independence and wellbeing throughout their day.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and choosing appropriate clothing.
• Support mealtimes, ensuring good nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage safe mobilisation using mobility aids and specialist equipment.
• Provide companionship, accompany residents on outings and appointments.
• Maintain accurate written records and complete required documentation.
• Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to promote health and wellbeing.
• Welcome family members and respond to enquiries.

Required profile

• Genuine caring nature with patience and respect for individual abilities.
• Ability to work with residents living with age‑related, mental health and dementia conditions.
• Willingness to learn and follow training provided by the Quality Matters team.
