About the role

Supply Staff Limited is seeking a qualified Music Teacher for a full‑time, long‑term position at a secondary school in Hertfordshire. You will nurture students' musical abilities through both practical and theoretical lessons, delivering engaging and inspiring sessions.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for secondary students.
Inspire pupils in performance, instrumental practice and music theory.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with fellow music teachers and school staff.
Participate in extracurricular music activities, concerts and events.

Required profile

QTS or QTLS certification.
PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
Passion for teaching music.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.
