Fund Accountant – Real Estate Finance

About the role

Join a well‑capitalised European property developer and asset manager as a Fund Accountant within its London finance team. You will provide end‑to‑end accounting and financial support for a portfolio of real‑estate development and asset‑management mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV, investor reporting and support valuations.
• Manage cash‑flow coordination with the FP&A team.
• Provide financial support for property acquisitions, disposals and due‑diligence.
• Review and post financial reports from external property managers.
• Oversee external fund administrators on tenancy schedules, rent deposits and service‑charge reconciliations.
• Prepare periodic management accounts, annual statutory statements and coordinate external audits.
• Produce consolidated lender, bank covenant reports and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Handle VAT and CIS compliance, submit returns and support new registrations.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience with real‑estate investment structures such as REITs, asset holding companies, limited partnerships and GP structures.
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102 and UK statutory reporting requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
