Funds Solicitor – Private Funds Lawyer

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Funds Solicitor to join its Bristol team. You will work on the structuring, launch, and ongoing operation of private funds across multiple asset classes, advising clients throughout the full lifecycle of private investment funds.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate fund documentation, including limited partnership agreements, investment management agreements and side letters.
• Support bespoke fund structures such as funds‑of‑one and parallel vehicles.
• Assist with cross‑border fund matters and fund registrations in various jurisdictions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with fund managers and institutional investors.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 2–5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in private funds or fund formation.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating fund documentation.
• Exposure to cross‑border fund structures and offshore jurisdictions is desirable.
• Interest or experience in secondaries transactions and LP portfolio sales is advantageous.
