Gardener Driver – Grounds Operative (3.5T Vehicle)

About the role
We are seeking a Gardener Driver to join the grounds maintenance team for a client in Enfield. The role combines horticultural duties with driving a 3.5‑tonne vehicle and requires an active, hands‑on approach.
Key responsibilities
- Perform shrub cutting, hedge pruning, strimming, weeding and litter picking.
- Operate small powered tools such as petrol hedge cutters and blowers.
- Drive company vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes as required.
- Follow daily work schedules and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Complete training on equipment and safe working methods.
- Carry out safety checks, routine maintenance and report any defects.
- Liaise professionally with the public, team members, managers and subcontractors.
Required profile
- Valid Category B driving licence.
- Ability to work 42 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, starting at 7:15 am.
- Immediate availability.
Required skills
- Category B driving licence for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
- Operation of petrol hedge cutters.
- Operation of leaf blowers and other grounds‑maintenance equipment.
