Gardener

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Gardener to maintain gardens, lawns, flower beds and other outdoor spaces for our clients in Hounslow. You will ensure these areas remain attractive, healthy and safe throughout the year, working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Plant, water, prune and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees and lawns.
• Mow grass, edge lawns and keep borders tidy.
• Weed flower beds and landscaped areas.
• Apply fertilizers, compost and plant treatments as required.
• Identify and control pests, diseases and weeds.
• Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools safely.
• Remove garden waste and keep outdoor areas tidy.
• Assist with seasonal planting and landscaping projects.
• Follow health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Horticulture qualification (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).
• Previous experience in gardening, grounds maintenance or horticulture.
• Reliable, punctual and hard‑working.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Required skills

• Operating gardening equipment safely (lawn mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers).
• Using gardening tools for planting, pruning and weed removal.
• Knowledge of plants, gardening techniques and seasonal maintenance.
• Applying fertilizers, compost and pest‑control treatments.
