Gardener (must drive) – Full-time in Hounslow

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Gardener who can also drive a 3.5‑tonne van to join our grounds maintenance team in Hounslow. Based at our Brentford depot, you will lead a crew delivering park and public‑area upkeep across the borough.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily grounds maintenance tasks in parks and public spaces.
• Operate strimmers, lawn mowers, hedge cutters and other maintenance equipment.
• Perform grass cutting, edging, hedge trimming, pruning, weeding and shrub care.
• Pick up litter, clear leaves and ensure clean, safe outdoor environments.
• Load and unload equipment and materials, and conduct vehicle and machinery checks.
• Drive a 3.5‑tonne manual company van between the depot and work sites.
• Support and train team members as required while following health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening or landscaping.
• Full UK manual driving licence with the ability to drive a 3.5‑tonne van.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to attend the Brentford depot each morning before travelling to sites.

Required skills

• Operation of strimmers, lawn mowers and hedge cutters.
• Manual van driving (3.5‑tonne vehicle).
