Gas Engineer

About the role

Golding Homes is seeking a Gas Engineer to join its repairs team in Maidstone. You will work on both occupied and unoccupied properties, ensuring heating systems meet legal standards while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out landlord gas safety inspections.
• Diagnose and repair breakdowns on domestic gas boilers.
• Fit and replace boiler components as required.
• Assist the repairs team with plumbing tasks.
• Travel to multiple properties across the Maidstone area.

Required profile

• Completed recognised apprenticeship or equivalent (minimum NVQ Level II).
• City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 and current Gas Safe qualifications.
• Relevant ACS certifications such as CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1.
• Extensive experience in gas boiler repairs and servicing.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with set targets.
• Valid driving licence and DBS clearance.
