Gas Engineer – Private Residential Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to join our West London team, focusing on landlord gas safety inspections and boiler servicing for private residential properties. The position is full‑time, day‑shift only, with an immediate start and a supportive, family‑run environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out gas safety inspections and boiler servicing in accordance with legal and safety standards for private landlords.
• Provide clear electronic reports and maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, and repairs.
• Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on boilers, heating systems, HIU units, hot‑water cylinders, and general plumbing systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of heating and plumbing issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Gas Engineer in residential settings.
• Strong competence with flue‑gas analysers, boiler fault finding and heating system diagnostics.
• Excellent customer service attitude with a polite and professional approach.
• Own hand tools (larger tools can be provided by the company).
• Full, clean UK driving licence and ability to pass a DBS check.
• Valid ACS domestic gas qualifications.
