Gas Planner – Scheduling Gas Safety Checks

About the role

Join the East Gas team at Sanctuary Group in Ely to coordinate gas safety checks and repairs across the East Region. You will ensure engineers have well‑planned workloads and that customers receive timely, compliant service.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and program gas servicing and repair appointments, meeting compliance targets.
• Respond to complaints and breakdowns, communicating progress and outcomes to customers.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, addressing service shortfalls.
• Keep filing systems and databases accurate, user‑friendly, and up‑to‑date.
• Assist in producing statistical reports on performance indicators such as response times and satisfaction levels.

Required profile

• Experience using multiple scheduling systems to manage a field workforce.
• Working knowledge of gas safety regulations and best practice.
• NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Ability to extract and interpret data from various sources.
• Strong negotiation and planning abilities.
