Gas Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Gas Supervisor to lead the Planned Works team for a leading Housing Association in Slough. The role involves overseeing gas installation, maintenance and repair projects while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily gas installation, maintenance and repair operations.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety and quality regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and safety audits on gas systems and infrastructure.
• Coordinate work schedules and allocate tasks to technicians and fitters.
• Review and approve technical drawings, gas plans and job safety analyses.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on gas equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports and regulatory documentation.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies on project and safety matters.

Required profile

• ACS Gas Certification (including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1).
• Registered (or eligible) with the Gas Safe Register.
• Valid Gas Supervisor / Gas Engineer licence.
• Strong knowledge of gas safety codes and local regulations.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.

Required skills

• Interpretation of technical drawings and schematics.
• Use of maintenance management or scheduling software.
• Familiarity with safety management systems (ISO 45001, OSHA).
