About the role

We are seeking qualified teachers to act as examiners for the new GCSE Spanish specification. Working fully remotely, you will assess candidates’ responses using the ePEN online marking system during the May‑July marking window.

Key responsibilities

Mark GCSE Spanish scripts accurately and consistently according to the official mark scheme.
Submit sample scripts to your Team Leader at the required times.
Meet all marking milestones and deadlines.
Complete required administrative tasks as instructed.

Required profile

At least one academic year of recent teaching experience (within the last 8 years) in Spanish.
Qualified teacher status with a relevant degree or equivalent.
High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

Proficiency with the ePEN online marking platform.
