GCSE Tutor (Part‑time, Liverpool)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for enthusiastic GCSE Tutors to deliver one‑to‑one tuition for students across Liverpool. The role supports learners who need extra help preparing for exams, catching up on missed content, or boosting their grades.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver personalised 1:1 or small‑group lessons in English, Maths and/or Science.
- Adapt teaching materials to match each student’s learning style and progress.
- Provide feedback to students and, where appropriate, to parents or schools.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress.
Required profile
- Recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE) or substantial tutoring experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in at least one GCSE subject (English, Maths, Science).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, patient and motivating attitude.
