General Manager – Bowling & Family Entertainment Centre

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious General Manager to lead a busy bowling and family entertainment centre in South East England. You will have full autonomy to shape the customer experience, drive commercial performance and influence the future growth of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the centre, ensuring a safe, fun and vibrant environment for guests and staff.
• Manage all four revenue streams – Food, Drink, Amusements and Bowling/Golf – to meet and exceed budgetary targets.
• Monitor and deliver on KPIs, profit margins and overall financial performance.
• Lead, coach and motivate a multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding service and repeat business.
• Maintain high operational standards and continuously optimise sales and performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 months hands‑on experience as a General Manager in leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Proven track record of improving operational standards and commercial results.
• Strong passion for people development with evidence of coaching and progressing team members.
• Resilient, flexible and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as required.
