General Manager

About the role

We are seeking a General Manager to lead operations for a landmark luxury residence in the heart of London’s West End. The role combines five‑star hospitality service with rigorous building management, health and safety oversight, and resident experience excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, schedule and coach the on‑site team to deliver round‑the‑clock five‑star service.
• Oversee all amenity operations and maintenance, coordinating specialist contractors and planned works.
• Own health, safety and compliance, including audits, risk assessments, drills and record‑keeping.
• Manage budgets, service‑charge forecasting, invoicing, procurement and contract performance.
• Handle resident communications, meetings and feedback, turning insights into service improvements.
• Conduct regular building walks, quality inspections and ensure timely completion of actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing luxury residential or hotel‑style properties.
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and develop a high‑performing team.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, building collaborative relationships with residents, contractors and neighbours.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, procurement and achieve cost efficiencies without compromising quality.
• Commitment to health, safety, fire and water hygiene compliance with a track record of exemplary audit results.
