General Manager

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on General Manager to lead our UK business, reporting directly to the Group. The role will oversee a £10 million turnover, drive sales growth, and mentor a diverse team across sales, logistics and assembly.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the P&L (circa £10 m turnover) and set sales objectives and strategies.
• Coach, motivate and develop direct and indirect reports, providing challenging mentorship.
• Conduct regular market analysis to monitor competition and economic indicators.
• Identify and pursue new market focus areas to maximise growth opportunities.
• Drive operational excellence through effective inventory, logistics and assembly management.

Required profile

• Commercially minded senior leader with a proven record of growing sales in an SME environment.
• Experience managing a multi‑million‑pound P&L and leading cross‑functional teams.
• Strong client‑management and networking skills with senior industry professionals.
• Degree‑level education or equivalent sales and operational management experience.
• Enthusiasm for a hands‑on role that involves wearing many hats.
