General Manager – Luxury Spa (Build-to-Trade)

About the role

This senior, hands‑on position will lead the final phase of a new luxury spa’s build and guide it through opening and ongoing operations. You will work closely with the construction team, marketing, and suppliers to ensure a seamless launch and high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the remainder of the build from an operator’s perspective, partnering with the construction team.
• Own the operational specification of mechanical & electrical (M&E) packages, EPOS, booking platform, and digital infrastructure, including the website.
• Develop the full operating model: treatment menu, staffing structure, supplier relationships, opening procedures, and service standards.
• Collaborate with the in‑house marketing function on the pre‑opening campaign and launch strategy.
• Take overall accountability for delivering a successful opening and the subsequent trading operation.

Required profile

• Proven experience opening a spa from build phase through to launch, with a detailed track record.
• Experience specifying and procuring M&E packages, EPOS systems, and booking technology in a spa environment.
• Operational rigor and commercial maturity to drive focus and present business cases.
• Ability to work within a clear approval model and maintain premium‑level guest experience standards.
