General Manager – Pub & Dining

About the role

As General Manager you will lead a historic pub, driving sales, developing your team and ensuring every guest feels welcome. You will be the face of the brand, setting standards and creating a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Business Development Manager to grow pub sales and achieve P&L targets.
• Recruit, train and develop staff, ensuring they have the knowledge to delight customers.
• Uphold brand standards, health & safety, and personal licence requirements.
• Lead by example, delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining a safe environment.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Business‑savvy mindset, capable of managing budgets and controlling costs.
• Previous success at General Manager level in hospitality, retail or a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to obtain a personal licence if not already held.

Required skills

• Proficiency in P&L management.
• Understanding of health, safety and licensing regulations.
