General Manager – Pub & Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a premium dining pub and restaurant near Weybridge, Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while fostering a supportive environment for staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the pub and restaurant.
• Lead, motivate and develop the front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Head Chef to maintain high standards of food, service and hygiene.
• Manage staffing rotas, recruitment and training programmes.
• Monitor financial performance, control costs and drive revenue growth.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior management role within a premium pub or restaurant.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality service and guest satisfaction.
