General Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead one of our Five Guys restaurants in Wirral. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day operations, driving profitability, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and coach the team to deliver high‑quality burgers, fries and service.
• Own the store’s P&L, driving sales while controlling costs.
• Maintain smooth daily operations, including line work and dining‑area oversight.
• Develop talent, manage HR issues and create a positive workplace culture.
• Plan long‑term strategies, monitor performance and ensure compliance with brand standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of experience managing a restaurant or similar hospitality operation.
• Proven ability to lead a team, manage budgets and achieve sales targets.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
