General Manager - Zara Home Battersea

About the role

Zara Home, part of the Inditex Group, offers design-led homeware and lifestyle collections. As General Manager of the Battersea store, you will lead the store with ownership, pace and calm, delivering strong commercial results while building an inclusive team culture and an exceptional customer experience. The role is on-site in London.

Key responsibilities

• Owning the store's end-to-end performance, delivering sales, productivity and profitability through clear priorities and consistent execution.
• Using KPIs and insight to adapt plans quickly as trading patterns and priorities change.
• Driving commercial launches and seasonal storytelling.
• Bringing the brand to life through visual standards, merchandising and product stories.
• Maintaining operational routines for stock flow and replenishment, stockroom organisation and store standards.
• Keeping security/shrinkage, cash procedures, health and safety, cleanliness and maintenance follow-up to a high standard.
• Building an inclusive, motivating culture with clear expectations, regular feedback and consistent performance standards.
• Recruiting inclusively, developing leaders and building succession plans.
• Managing hours budgets and rosters so the right support is in place at the right time.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a fast-paced retail operation with a strong customer experience focus.
• Strong commercial confidence and a track record of improving performance through people-led leadership.
• A visible, hands-on leadership style that is calm, fair and decisive under pressure.
• Strong operational standards across stock, shrinkage, cash and compliance.
• Interest in interiors, design and trends, able to turn customer needs into solutions.
• Commitment to inclusive leadership and ownership and integrity.
