General Practitioner (GP) – Duns, Scottish Borders

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic General Practitioner to join a busy, forward‑thinking practice in Duns, Scottish Borders. The role can be structured as a salaried GP or GP partner, with flexibility to adjust the number of sessions to suit the successful candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, patient‑centred primary care to a diverse local population.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team that includes experienced GPs, an Emergency Nurse Practitioner, practice nurses, healthcare assistants, pharmacists and administrative staff.
• Participate in teaching activities for ST1 and ST3 trainees.
• Contribute to service development and practice innovation.

• Enthusiasm for supporting the practice’s ongoing development.
