General Practitioner – High Earning Potential in Newcastle

About the role

We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner to join our long‑established practice operating across two modern clinics in Charlestown, near Newcastle. You will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care with full clinical and administrative support, and you can choose to work at one or both sites or remotely via telehealth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.
• Utilise telehealth and integrated digital platforms to maintain continuity of care.
• Collaborate with practice staff to ensure smooth patient flow across both clinics.
• Document consultations, referrals and tasks using AI‑assisted tools.
• Participate in special interest areas such as skin, women’s health, mental health or chronic disease management.

Required profile

• Registered General Practitioner with appropriate Australian medical registration.
• Willingness to work full‑time, part‑time, hybrid or telehealth arrangements.
• Interest in leveraging technology to enhance clinical efficiency.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence‑based care.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Best Practice (BP) practice management software.
• Experience using cloud‑based phone systems for telehealth.
• Familiarity with Cubiko for billing optimisation and care planning.
• Ability to work with Heidi AI Assistant for automated notes and referrals.
• Comfort with integrated telehealth platforms.
