General Sales Manager – Bentley & Lamborghini

About the role

Sytner Group is seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to lead the Bentley and Lamborghini dealership in Birmingham. You will be responsible for driving profitability across new and used vehicle departments while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage annual sales forecasts, targets and communicate them to the sales team.
• Oversee profitability of new‑car, used‑car and after‑sales departments.
• Recruit, coach and monitor performance of department managers and sales executives.
• Conduct weekly sales meetings, mentoring sessions and performance reviews.
• Handle complex customer situations and ensure high levels of service, including weekend coverage.

Required profile

• Proven track record in a senior sales management role within the automotive industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop high‑performing sales teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on profitability and customer retention.
• Experience managing both new and used vehicle sales operations.
