Geo-environmental Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Geo‑environmental Engineer to join our geotechnical consultancy in Solihull. The role combines field investigations on contaminated land sites with office‑based data analysis and report writing, offering a balanced mix of site supervision and interpretive work.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ground investigations and site visits for phases 1‑4 contaminated land projects.
• Collect and interpret geological and environmental data on site.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support project planning and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Degree in Geology or related earth sciences.
• Proven experience working on contaminated land projects.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work both on‑site and in an office environment.
