Geo‑environmental Engineer – Geotechnical Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Geo‑environmental Engineer to join our ground investigation specialist consultancy in Guildford. You will work on a variety of brownfield and greenfield projects, developing technical expertise while supporting senior consultants and chartered engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute ground investigations and site assessments.
• Prepare detailed interpretive reports and risk‑assessment strategies.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers on project tasks.
• Contribute to business development activities and client liaison.
• Collaborate with chartered consultants to ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

• Degree in Geology or a related discipline.
• Full right to work permanently in the UK.
• Valid full driving licence.
• Proven experience in geotechnical or geo‑environmental investigations.
• Strong ability to produce clear, technical interpretive reports.
