About the role

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons for mixed‑ability classes across key stages.
• Differentiate instruction to ensure all pupils can reach and exceed their potential.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the Humanities department and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
• Participate in continuous professional development and departmental meetings.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher (QTS) with a degree in Geography or a related subject.
• Demonstrated ability to create inspiring, student‑centred lessons.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
• Enthusiasm for fostering a love of geography in young learners.
