Geography Teacher – Full-Time Long-Term Role

About the role

We are partnering with a ‘Good’ Ofsted‑rated secondary school in Cambridgeshire to hire a Geography Teacher on a full‑time, long‑term basis starting September 2026. Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging Geography lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Cover both physical and human geography topics.
• Adapt resources to meet a range of learning abilities and monitor student progress.
• Provide constructive feedback and promote independent learning and critical thinking.
• Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour.

Required skills

• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
