About the role
We are seeking a qualified Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Slough from September 2026. The role is full‑time and offers the chance to inspire students across all ability levels while contributing to the wider school community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons aligned with the English curriculum.
- Maintain strong classroom management and high expectations for student achievement.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Degree in Geography or a related discipline.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).
- Passion for Geography and ability to engage learners of diverse abilities.
- Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
