About the role
Join Tetra Tech’s national Geospatial team to deliver complex, high‑impact surveying projects that support water, defence, nuclear and infrastructure programmes across the UK. You will combine field‑based data capture with office‑based processing to provide accurate geospatial information for critical engineering decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute and deliver topographical, setting‑out, measured‑building, levelling and laser‑scanning surveys from inception to final hand‑over.
- Capture, process and interpret survey data using industry‑leading tools such as AutoCAD and Leica Infinity.
- Operate Total Station and GNSS equipment confidently across varied project environments.
- Produce high‑quality deliverables, including terrain models and as‑built drawings.
- Build strong relationships with clients and multidisciplinary project teams, balancing site and office duties.
Required profile
- Proven experience in topographical surveying and use of survey software.
- Hands‑on competence with GNSS and Total Station equipment.
- Strong communication and client‑facing abilities.
- Experience with laser scanning, levelling, measured‑building surveys or terrain modelling is advantageous.
- Relevant technical qualification and a full UK driving licence.
