German Speaking Customer Service

About the role

We are seeking a fluent German speaker to join a global market leader’s customer service team in the United Kingdom. The role is based in Borehamwood and offers a hybrid working pattern with one day per week remote.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer support via phone, email and face‑to‑face interactions.
• Handle enquiries, resolve issues promptly and manage complaints with empathy.
• Process orders, update customer records and coordinate with internal departments.
• Maintain accurate administrative tasks and ensure timely completion of workload.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of customer satisfaction metrics.

Required profile

• Fluent German (bilingual) with excellent verbal communication.
• Confident telephone manner and ability to follow scripts.
• Highly organised, dependable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive, personable team player who enjoys taking ownership of work.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary: £30,000 per year.
• Company bonus of 10% (£3,000).
• 25 days holiday plus pension and private medical scheme.
• Hybrid working – one day per week remote.
• Permanent contract with regular Monday‑to‑Friday hours (9am‑5pm).
