German Speaking Sales Associate

About the role

City Elite is partnering with a fintech and risk‑management firm to find a German‑speaking Sales Associate. The role is focused on expanding the customer base within investment banks and junior bankers, guiding prospects through the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily prospecting and outreach within target accounts.
• Support the end‑to‑end sales process, from qualifying leads to closing opportunities.
• Execute territory sales plans to drive revenue growth.
• Schedule and attend in‑person meetings, networking events and conferences to raise brand visibility.
• Build and nurture relationships with senior executives and decision‑makers.
• Prioritise high‑impact activities to meet performance targets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to leverage existing relationships.
• Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems to track leads and pipeline progress.

Required profile

• Native German speaker.
• 3–12 months of general business experience.
• Ambition to develop a long‑term career in sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening skills and resilience to handle rejection.
• Basic understanding of sales principles, objection handling and closing techniques.
• Effective time‑management and prioritisation abilities.
• Degree‑educated, preferably in finance.
