Global Payroll Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Global Payroll Manager to lead end‑to‑end payroll operations across the UK, North America and Australia. The role will ensure compliance with local legislation, maintain data integrity in ADP and support month‑end and year‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing through ADP for the UK, US and Australia, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with local payroll legislation, tax and statutory requirements.
• Review and approve payroll inputs including starters, leavers, changes, bonuses and benefits.
• Maintain payroll controls, reconciliations, reporting and audit readiness.
• Partner with senior stakeholders in People, Finance and external providers.
• Support month‑end and year‑end reporting and submissions.
• Identify and implement process improvements and standardisation initiatives.
• Act as the go‑to expert for payroll queries and legislative updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a global or multi‑country payroll leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of payroll operations, controls and compliance.
• Experience managing complex payroll environments across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across HR and Finance.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
