Global Program Manager - Development Cloud

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a Global Program Manager to lead large‑scale R&D Vault implementations for strategic life‑science customers across Europe. This remote, full‑time position blends on‑site customer engagement with flexible work from anywhere in the EU or UK.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of complex, multi‑functional Global R&D Vault projects (Clinical, Regulatory, Safety) ensuring measurable business impact.
• Build trusted‑advisor relationships with customer IT and business executives to define and govern long‑term transformation roadmaps.
• Align cross‑functional Veeva teams (Sales, Product, Strategy, Services) as the primary executive liaison to deliver unified, outcome‑driven programs.
• Negotiate and lead services contracts and implementation proposals that expand product adoption and account growth.
• Proactively manage program risks, resolve escalations, and ensure smooth transition from implementation to post‑deployment operations.

Required profile

• 7+ years of program leadership delivering enterprise‑scale R&D or GxP technology programs in pharma.
• Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical R&D functions such as Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Safety, Quality or Manufacturing.
• Proven consulting experience with enterprise pharma clients across multiple business domains.
• Demonstrated ability to lead global, multi‑system implementations with measurable impact.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
